Sandvik 14C28N is a martensitic chromium stainless steel whose chemistry is optimized for professional high-quality knife applications that place very high demands on edge sharpness, edge stability and corrosion resistance.
As for this knife, the 14C28N is intensively processed by RUIKE using a hardening and cryogenic treatment, which results in an ideal hardness of 58~60 HRC.

RUIKE knife handles are a blend of fiberglass and resin, which gives the handles the ability to withstand intense forces and prevent scratches and general abrasion.
- "Thumb Up" safety lock
Pushing the safety lock upwards can make the locking mechanism more reliable and secure by preventing accidental blade closure during use.
